Some utility routines
Here are some utility routines I wrote (or hackded) and put here so I
could find them easily.
(These routines should not be considered ready for "real" research;
they come with no warranty whatsoever.) In fact, they are not currently
available due to relocation.
-
Make a frequency graph from user-specified values
-
Make a log frequency graph from user-specified values
-
Make a log-log frequency graph from user-specified values
-
Perform a regression on a set of value pairs
-
Make a plot of a set of value pairs
-
Make a phase diagram from a set of values stored in a user-specified
URL (default lag = 2)
-
Get a phase diagram from a set of values stored in a user-specified URL
(default lag=1)
-
Make a difference plot from a set of values stored in a user-specified
URL (use lag=0 and display_lag=1 to get an autocorrlation on the data.)
-
Do a Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA) on a set of values stored in
a user-specified URL
-
estimate the Hurst parameter for a sequence stored in a user-specified URL
using a rescaled range method.
- Look at
chromosome patterns (using DFA and base concentrations)
and some datasets useful with the programs above:
